RAINY DAYS FOR RAIN FOREST: The Environmental Project marked time for yet another year. No new funding was announced, and years of planning for a Coralville site may be wasted as project leaders consider other communities for the indoor rain forest. The goodwill this project once enjoyed is eroding, too, and 2006 might be the last gasp for what could have been (still could be?) Iowa’s boldest tourism and research project.
