Norman Luxenburg's "Answers needed on rain forest" (March 10) was the most comprehensive and facutal evaluation that I have seen regarding the Iowa Environmental/Education Project.

Maybe I am naive, but if the project will attract so many visitors and be so profitable, why aren't private investors eager to reap the benefits? The backers of the project should take a look down the long road and face reality.

Foresight is much better than hindsight.
